The
2021 Seoul International Cosmetics and Beauty Industry Fair was the first
Korean cosmetics fair to be held offline. Cosmo Beauty Seoul was held every
year from April to May, but this year, it was held at Hall A on the first floor
of COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul for three days from July 2 to 4.
Under
the theme of Health & Beauty Week, this year's exhibition was decorated as
a hybrid exhibition that combines both online and offline for the post-Corona
era. In particular, this year, it has launched exceptional promotions to expand
participation, such as "Companion Participation Discount Event,"
"Prize Support Program," and "Cosmo Market Booth" for small
business owners.
Opportunities
for meetings with overseas buyers have also been further expanded. In line with
the B2B professional exhibition, various business programs were provided to
domestic and foreign participants and registered buyers, from autonomous
counseling sessions to domestic and foreign invitation buyer counseling
sessions.
It
also operated the Open Network (OPEN-NETWORK) program. This program is for
participating companies and online pre-registration buyers to autonomously meet
and conduct counseling. Even after the event, organizers can freely check and
inquire about company information over the next year through continuous new
buyer updates.
It
also prepared "IHBP Invitation Consultation Program (IHBP)," an
online video consultation program with overseas buyers who are currently unable
to enter the country and an offline consultation program with domestic
distribution buyers. This year, KOTRA's bid to attract overseas buyers has been
confirmed.
Seminars
and conferences on various topics were held inside the exhibition hall and in
the conference room for industry experts and general visitors. Various
professional seminars and conferences were held on the latest trends in the
cosmetics and beauty markets, distribution and sales structure, and analysis of
the global beauty market, which are rapidly changing recently.
