The Future of the Post-Corona Food Industry 2021 Gwangju Future Food Exhibition
The
2021 Gwangju Future Food Exhibition was held at the Kim Dae Jung Convention
Center from November 4 to November 8. The Gwangju Future Food Exhibition, which
was not held last year due to COVID-19, was held as a safe exhibition this year
by simultaneously applying the existing COVID-19 preemptive response and step-by-step
government policy, including non-face-to-face access control, compliance with
quarantine rules, and separate food and tasting spaces.
Under
the theme of The Future of the Food Industry After COVID-19, it was held as an
exhibition specializing in food in the Honam region that provides opportunities
for local food companies to pioneer new markets and introduces future food and
food trends to citizens.
There
were 180 participating companies, introducing a variety of food-related forms
at 300 booths, including agricultural and livestock products, processed foods,
organic foods, health foods, home convenience foods, 3D food printing,
eco-friendly food materials and local specialties, food processing packaging
devices, and food hygiene devices.
It
also held a purchase consultation meeting inviting buyers and distribution MDs
of famous domestic distribution channels such as home shopping, department
stores, and companies to explore the possibility of industrialization and
nationalization of local food companies and secure new consumers.
