The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
and the Korea Creative Content Agency held the 2021 On: Hallyu Festival, a
comprehensive Korean Wave event, until the end of this month. The move is aimed
at comforting Korean Wave fans at home and abroad who are tired of COVID-19 and
supporting the overseas expansion of K-content and related industries. This
year's "On: Hallyu Festival" was integrated with the 2021 K- Expo.
An offline exhibition began on November
8-11 at COEX Grand Ballroom in Gangnam, Seoul. 66 domestic content companies
participated in video export consultations with overseas buyer companies, and
Diorgin, a Korean content company, signed a contract with an Indonesian company
to create a professional webtoon academy in Indonesia.
It sells character products in China
through live commerce, and K-pop group Highlight introduces domestic products
on the web entertainment show "All Sold Out." It boosted the demand and
consumption of related products such as K-food and K-beauty.
