The
Korea Electronics Exhibition (KES 2021), the representative exhibition of the
domestic electronics and IT industries, will be held at COEX in Seoul for four
days from October 26. It was held in the aftermath of COVID-19 last year, but
this year it was held after recovering from the previous year.
According to the Korea Electronics and
Communications Industry Promotion Association (KEA) on the 11th, about 400 companies
participated in the "KES 2021 (52nd Korea Electronics Exhibition), which
marks its 52nd anniversary this year. Although more than 450 companies do not
participate compared to 2019, only about 160 companies are participating
compared to the previous year in the aftermath of the new coronavirus infection
(COVID-19). For this reason, unlike last year, when only C holes were used,
they were held in A and B holes as before. Samsung Electronics and LG
Electronics also joined the exhibition by increasing booths by 25% from last
year.
Under the slogan "CONNECTED BEYONDE
ELECTRONICS," the exhibition's KEA showed a digital world that connects to
other industries beyond the boundaries of the electronics industry. It also
provides customized marketing services so that participants and visitors can be
satisfied at the same time through six major programs.
In particular, this "KES2021"
held the first Metabus Korea, which informs Metabus Korea along with the X
Forum. Metabus refers to a three-dimensional virtual world with the synthesis
of metas, which means processing and transcendence, and Universe, which means
the real world.
At the Metabus Special Hall, you can
inform and experience industries and technologies such as metabus-related
hardware, platforms, technologies, and contents. At the same time, online and
offline technology conferences were held.
