In
one place with mobility technology, 2021 Seoul Mobility Show's eyes.
The
2021 Seoul Mobility Show, a domestic automobile exhibition, received favorable
responses from visitors by introducing a variety of mobility technologies and
products submitted by small and medium-sized companies, universities, and
research institutes as well as global finished car brands.
KAIST unveiled self-driving cars,
self-driving delivery robots certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure
and Transport, and self-driving flying cars that can both drive and fly.
Ajou
Automobile University, a world-class automobile specialized university,
submitted vertical take-off and landing flying cars and formula F3 e-machine
produced by students themselves.
A
number of research institutes also participated. The Korea Automobile Research
Institute exhibited hydrogen autonomous buses, hydrogen electronic
high-pressure hydrogen regulators, and key components of hydrogen electric
trucks to show the current status of hydrogen mobility development in the
future.
In
addition, the Electronic Technology Research Institute submitted electronic
technologies used in various fields such as electric driving systems for
electric vehicles and communication platform technologies that support
autonomous driving. In particular, the active camouflage technology, in which
vehicles display colors and patterns similar to the surrounding environment to
show optimal camouflage performance, caught the attention of visitors. As a
result, it received favorable reviews for showing the future of automobile
exterior displays.
There
was also a series of participation from overseas institutions. The American
Grains Association, which set up its first booth this time, introduced
eco-friendly bioethanol that can reduce carbon emissions to 46 percent compared
to gasoline.
