Korea's only cosmetic raw material industry exhibition, In-Cosmetics Korea, will be held in July.

 

Reed Exhibitions, the organizer of Korea's only personal care raw material exhibition, In-Cosmetics Korea, was held in July through a preliminary media briefing, with more than 4,000 visitors visiting, up about 25% from the previous year.

 

Numerous cosmetic raw material manufacturers from home and abroad participated in the exhibition, of which foreign companies accounted for 54%. New foreign companies include Emery in Malaysia, a leading global chemical product maker, Croda, a global raw material supplier and famous for sustainable product development, and Neelicon, an Indian-based color raw material company, accounting for 27%.

 

This year's 14-session marketing trend and regulation seminar focused on recent issues that have attracted high attention and have been highlighted in the domestic cosmetics manufacturing industry. Antoinette Van den Berg of Future Touch in the Netherlands discussed color trends, while Yoon Seok-joo, head of the Institute for Safety Evaluation, discussed ways to replace animal testing, and AmorePacific held a seminar focusing on complex issues of Chinese cosmetics regulations.

 

In addition, a presentation on the latest Asian cosmetics trends was held by Florence Bernardin of France-based Information & Inspiration.

 

In addition, an exhibition space introducing innovative packaging materials and solutions for thousands of cosmetics manufacturers has drawn attention.
