The 2021 International IoT, Home Appliance, and Robot Fair, a venue for future industrial technology communication.

The 2021 International IoT, Home Appliance, and Robot Fair was held to showcase future technologies that combine the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI).

Hosted by Gwangju City, organized by the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the 2021 International IoT Robot Fair was held at the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center in Gwangju for three days from the 18th to the 20th.

This year's 13th fair was attended by 350 companies from 30 countries, showing domestic trends and global trends in items that will lead future industries such as intelligent home appliances, robots, IoT Internet of Things, ICT, artificial intelligence (AI), and drones.

Samsung Electronics, which participated in the fair, introduced a smart home with enhanced connectivity based on Bespoke home appliances and Samsung Electronics' AI technology SmartThings under the theme of "Fantastic Teamwork for You."

It also introduced the "Scan Cook" function of Bespoke Cooker, which sets the optimal cooking temperature and time when scanning the barcode on the back of the meal kit or convenience food. In the clothing care zone, the latest Bespoke clothing care appliances such as Grande AI washing machines, dryers, air dressers, and shoe dressers were displayed. It was possible to see functions such as "AI customized laundry" that automatically set washing and rinsing times by detecting the weight, type, and pollution of laundry.

Various artificial intelligence functions such as AI custom-made drying, which detects temperature and humidity inside the device finds optimal drying temperature and time, AI habit memory, and AI customized recommendation, which suggest recommended courses based on usage patterns, weather, and seasons, were also introduced.

The Pet Care Zone introduced a service that takes care of pets' emotions by filming and showing their daily lives through a Bespoke jetbot AI robot cleaner and playing music or videos.
