The 2021 Busan Medical Device Exhibition operates an innovative medical device promotion center
The Ministry
of Food and Drug Safety operated the "Innovation Medical Device Promotion
Center" at the Busan Medical Device Exhibition (KIMES) from October 29 to
31 to promote the excellence of designated innovative medical devices and the
innovative medical device system.
The public relations center consists of
guidance on the operation performance of the innovative medical device system,
product promotion videos, corporate introduction, and exhibitions and
demonstrations, and provided opportunities for innovative medical device
companies to promote their products themselves and consumers to experience the
excellence of innovative medical devices.
In addition, 1:1 customized counseling was
conducted on designation applications, product development, and overseas
expansion, and R&D information guidance on the latest innovative
technologies was distributed to promote the development of innovative medical
devices.
An official from the Ministry of Food and Drug
Safety said, "We will continue to actively support the development and
rapid commercialization of medical devices with innovative cutting-edge
technologies based on regulatory science. We will make efforts to ensure that
people use new treatment technologies more quickly."
