The high-tech medical device exhibition "KIMES Busan" is a place in the regional specialized medical industry 

The International Medical Device and Hospital Equipment Exhibition (KIMES), the largest festival for medical personnel to improve national health and revitalize medical and hospital-related industries, is succeeding as a regional medical industry exhibition in Busan.

The 2021 Busan Medical Device Exhibition (KIMES Busan 2021) hosted by Korea ENX was held on October 29 at the first floor of the second exhibition hall of BEXCO in Busan. The exhibition began with a three-day exhibition, starting with the opening ceremony.

The KIMES exhibition, a domestic medical device and hospital facility exhibition held in Seoul every March, is held in October every year in Busan, contributing to revitalizing the local economy, expanding local medical benefits, and changing global trends. It also provided opportunities for communication between customers and various networks such as B2B, B2C, and C2C. More than 10,000 visitors, including medical personnel, medical industry officials, buyers, and dealers, visited every year, and 7,000 visited in 2021 considering the COVID-19 situation.

KIMES Busan 2021 has established a K-quarantine system optimized for exhibition halls to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The exhibition was operated through strict step-by-step quarantine procedures and restrictions on entrance and exit of the exhibition hall. All visitors registered an electronic entry list, and if a high temperature of 37.5 degrees or higher was detected by a thermal imaging camera and a facial recognition fever detector, a second measurement was made with a non-contact thermometer before deciding whether to enter. It was also possible to wear disposable masks and plastic gloves after using hand sanitizers when entering.

More than 3,000 state-of-the-art medical devices, including infection-related quarantine equipment, radiation diagnostic equipment and ultrasound diagnostic devices, medical information systems, laser surgical devices, sterilization and disinfection equipment, rehabilitation and physical therapy devices, and aging-related medical devices. In addition, robot medical devices, body composition analyzer, beauty/plastic devices, age-friendly products, and rehabilitation and health-related devices were also available.
