"COEX Food Week 2021" will showcase future food

Organizers of the 16th Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition "COEX Food Week 2021" announced on the 29th that they have completed exhibitions and side events held over the past four days. The COEX Food Week was held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul for four days from the 24th under the theme of Future Food: Containing the Environment. 632 companies from eight countries participated and operated 886 booths. About 35,000 visitors visited during the period.

 

The event drew attention both inside and outside the industry by introducing the changing standards for consumers' food choices and technological advances to think of a sustainable future after the COVID-19 Pandemic. Among the three themes, there is a high interest in the "Smart Food Tech Show" where you can look at the latest technologies in the food industry. In addition, alternative meat, eco-friendly packaging materials, indoor food cultivators, and insect foods attracted attention.

 

In addition, many visitors visited the colorful bakery show held under the theme of "Bread Bread Show," and the "Strict Meal Show" theme highlighted ideas from each booth, including premium agriculture, fisheries, livestock products and home convenience food (HMR). It also presented various lectures on future food and directions for technological development through various conferences and seminars.
