"International Green Car Exhibition" to see the future of mobility


Hosted by Gwangju Metropolitan City and co-hosted by Gwangju Green Car Promotion Agency, Kim Dae Jung Convention Center, and KOTRA, the 2021 International Green Car Exhibition was held at the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center in Gwangju for three days from the 18th (Thursday) to the 20th (Saturday).

 

Marking its 13th anniversary this year, the International Green Car Exhibition was held simultaneously with the International Root Industry Exhibition on the theme of basic technologies in the manufacturing industry and the International IoT Electric Robot Fair, which introduces advanced technologies in Honam's only intelligent robot industry.

 

93 domestic and foreign companies participated in the exhibition and operated 170 booths, and showed the domestic trend and global trend of eco-friendly vehicles such as electric vehicles, special-purpose vehicles, and self-driving cars, batteries and auto parts, and automotive supplies and infrastructure services.

 

Major exhibitions included Casper, the No. 1 labor-management win-win Gwangju-type job model, and Casper body parts supplied by local parts companies Hyundai Hi-Tech, Hyeonseong Autotech, and Howon.

 

In addition, auto parts developed by Goa Precision Co., Ltd., New Motek Co., Ltd., Daekyung AT Co., Ltd., and CS Electronics Co., Ltd. were also displayed, and various eco-friendly car technologies such as Maru ENG's personal mobility were introduced.

 

In addition, the Korea Automobile Journalists Association held a symposium of the Korea Automobile Journalists Association at the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center Convention Hall under the theme of Carbon Neutral, Future of the Automobile Industry on November 18, the opening day of the exhibition. In addition, various side events were held, including self-driving driving simulator technology seminars and electric vehicle-related seminars.
