International Electric Vehicle Expo, "To the Industrial Business Market"

The International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE) made a successful soft landing at the B2B Expo and the Business Expo as it diagnosed the current address of various e-mobility industries despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The organizing committee of the 8th International Electric Vehicle Expo announced on the 12th that the 8th Expo, which was held simultaneously with the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC Jeju) from the 7th to the 10th, was successfully closed. The expo was held with a variety of programs, including B2B business meetings and PR shows, exhibitions, conferences, and test-drive experiences, which can link the development of the e-mobility industry to real business performance of companies.

The expo also held a round table with global experts to discuss various issues on urban air transportation (UAM), which is attracting attention as a flying e-mobility, along with a conference on electric ships, reflecting the trend of electricity expanding to ships following automobiles.

From the 7th to the 9th, the opening day, at the "B2B Lounge" set up in the lobby on the 3rd floor of ICC Jeju Island, exhibition participants and B2B participating companies held active business meetings on site and online. The number of companies that applied for this year's B2B meeting has tripled compared to last year, and the size of the lounge has also expanded significantly. Over 200 companies held 700 actual meetings with business partners over the past three days, the organizing committee said.

Woo Tae-hee, full-time vice chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, made a presentation at the 6th General Assembly of the World Electric Vehicle Council (GAN) held on the morning of the 7th, the opening day of the International Electric Vehicle Expo.

The 9th International Electric Vehicle Expo will be held for four days from May 3 to 6, 2022 at the Jeju International Convention Center and online space.
