"2021 World Solar Energy Expo"was bring Korea's new and renewable energy together 


The World Solar Energy Expo Organizing Committee held an opening ceremony at KINTEX in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on June 16. Marking its 12th anniversary this year, the exhibition was held at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Goyang for three days until June 18 to confirm the present and future of the domestic and foreign renewable energy industries such as solar power, ESS, and Green New Deal.

 

Not only domestic but also global foreign companies participated in the exhibition, with more than 200 domestic and foreign companies introducing products and solutions, and a flexible and dynamic solar business encompassing companies and consumers took place.

 

The World Solar Energy Expo exhibited various solar facilities and solutions from companies active in domestic and foreign solar industries such as solar cells & modules and inverters. In addition, through the World Energy Storage System Expo, ESS safety management solutions and ESS development trends to strengthen stability after fire accidents were also identified. The latest trends in battery technology and improved product performance were also introduced.

 

The World Green New Deal Expo was also held at the same time to understand the present and future of the Green New Deal industry. In this exhibition, which will be held simultaneously to preemptively respond to changes in renewable energy and global trends, we were able to see the entire energy industry ecosystem at a glance.

 

Kang Hee-joon, head of the Chungnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation, one of the organizers of the exhibition, said in a welcoming speech, "Companies are focusing on major changes such as energy hydrogen industrialization amid the global trend toward carbon neutrality, including climate crisis response."
