On behalf of the Association of Korean Exhibition Industry (AKEI), I would like to extend my sincere appreciation for your continued interest and support.

The exhibition industry is a key service sector that creates high added value by facilitating exports, revitalizing related industries, stimulating domestic demand, and generating employment. It is a platform that discovers innovation, sets trends, and serves as a vital engine of economic growth.

Since its establishment in 2002, AKEI has actively carried out diverse initiatives to protect the rights and interests of the exhibition industry and to promote its sustainable development in accordance with the Exhibition Industry Development Act.

Today, the exhibition industry stands at a pivotal turning point. The advancement of AI and cutting-edge technologies under the Fourth Industrial Revolution, along with the rise of ESG management and the drive toward carbon neutrality, are reshaping the industry landscape. In response to these changes, AKEI will remain agile and proactive in ensuring exhibitions continue to deliver diverse and innovative experiences.

To this end, we will strengthen support for domestic exhibitions, build a robust industry infrastructure, and create more business opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-businesses. We also aim to cultivate digital convergence specialists and enhance the competencies of exhibition professionals in line with on-site demands.

With these efforts, we will continue striving to create an exhibition ecosystem that meets the needs of both businesses and consumers while elevating the global presence of Korea’s exhibition industry.
