Certified in Exhibition Management(CEM)

  • What is CEM?
  • - The only professional certification that is globally accredited in addition to the Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certification in the exhibition and convention industry as a professional agency for exhibitions which is established by the International Association of Exhibition and Events (IAEE) in 1975 as part of the Adult Learning Program for Fostering Exhibit Workers.
  • - As of the end of December 2012, 117 domestic acquisitions

How to obtain CEM

Eligibility
  • Over 3 years of experience in exhibition and convention industry
Acquisition requirements
  • Completion of 9 courses within 3 years
Maintenance requirements
  • Take two courses every three years after acquisition

Training Overview

Number of training sessions and duration
  • 2 times a year (1 time for each of the 1st half and the 2nd half, 3 days of training)
The number of people take education
  • Up to 30 persons in the 1st and the 2nd half of each year
Education courses
  • 3 courses in each of the 1st and the 2nd half
Education fee
  • 165,000 KRW / subject (tax included)
Co-Management
  • Korea Exhibition Industry Promotion Association, Coex, Korea Exhibition Organizer Association
Significant matter
  • A professional CEM instructor in the US will give lectures in English
  • Take at least one and a half years to complete 9 courses
